VITAMINSEA’S IMPERFECT PRODUCTS

Vitaminsea’s handmade products are made from recycled sail materials, which means that no two products are alike, and signs of hard sailing may be present. Characteristics such as original sail stitching, grommets, rust marks, tell-tales, fraying of seams and cut outs or other signs of the sail’s previous life on the water are the signs that you have purchased an authentic Vitaminsea product!

VITAMINSEA’S RETURN POLICY

Custom made products are not eligible for a refund once the custom design mock-up has been approved by the customer.
Once the order for a Personalized Product has been placed, it is no longer eligible for refund.
Vitaminsea products purchased from a third-party seller (wholesale partner) may not be returned directly to Vitaminsea and must be returned to the store where the purchase originated. Returns are subject to the seller’s return policy.
Products showing excessive wear and tear and/or products that have been damaged/soiled after purchase are not eligible for refund.

VITAMINSEA’S EXCHANGE POLICY

Products purchased directly from the Vitaminsea website or a Vitaminsea retail location can be exchanged within 60 Days of the original purchase date. This can be done in person at a Vitaminsea retail location, or by shipping your product directly to our Returns Department in St Francis Bay, South Africa.

Products must be returned in new condition to be considered eligible for exchange. Providing proof of purchase in the form of a store receipt, website invoice, or packing slip is the best way to ensure that you receive the full purchase value for your exchange. If proof of purchase is not available, exchange credit for the last known selling price of a given product will be provided.

Exceptions to the Exchange Policy:

A custom made product is not eligible for exchange once the custom design mock-up has been approved by the customer.
Discounts applied to the original purchase will be honoured for exchanges of equal or lesser value.
Products showing excessive wear and tear and/or products that have been damaged/soiled after purchase are not eligible for exchange.

Exchange Shipment Instructions

If you wish to exchange a product by mail, please contact our Returns Department on +27 71 554 3435 or email info@vitaminseastore.com.

The cost of shipping the exchange to our workshop is the responsibility of the customer. Vitaminsea will ship the replacement item free of charge.

Products returned to the Vitaminsea workshop for exchange will be processed by a member of our Returns Department within 3-5 days of being received. Please allow an additional 3-8 business days for the item being exchanged for to ship. (Stock product only).

Please ship the product in its original packaging (if available) to our workshop. The return shipping address will be provided.

VITAMINSEA’S REPAIR POLICY

Providing our customers with quality products through sustainable practices has always been our primary goal. If you receive a product that you believe is damaged or defective, please contact us or the retail store from where the purchase originated immediately. We will repair any damage resulting from a manufacturing defect free of charge.

Vitaminsea bags are built for adventure and made to last, but normal wear and tear will occur over time. Vitaminsea reserves the right to charge for any repair that is the result of regular use over time. Pricing will vary depending on the extent of the repair and the labour required.

One of our Customer Service associates will contact you within 3 to 5 business days of receiving your request. At that time, we will provide instructions regarding your repair. All Vitaminsea repairs are completed at our workshop in St Francis Bay, South Africa.
